Whispers of My Life

~A look at my world here in Kentucky~

Oh, to wake up to the ever present release of winter, so slowly knocking at my windows.
My heart anticipating that first fresh fall of snow.
Watching the birds as they happily finish the last details before winter arrives,
The squirrels so anxious to get all the food they need into their little coves.

It is this I long for when I look out my kitchen window. The whispers of life beckoning me to glance it's way.
To record it's journey one more day.

Oh, the weather is so lovely. I can hear fall whispering my name. I can't wait. I noticed on my calender the first day of Autumn is September 22. I love to play in the leaves just like my children. We enjoy this time together as a family too. Football games, fall picnics, camp fires and smores, camping, and so much more. I hope your weather is lovely where your at.

The weather outside is just beautiful. The sounds of the cadids, and the fresh cool breeze. Fall is around the corner. ************************* I can't hardly wait to start decorating. This is my absolute favorite time of year. I love the fall season. I love pulling out all my harvest decor. Building a scarecrow with the children for the front porch and setting bright orange pumpkins and gourds everywhere.

This catagory is our number one main theme. Our whole homeschooling experience is centered around it. I have an alter that is set up in our home and we decorate it and use it daily. I will decorate it according to any feast or festival that we celebrate or want to emphasize in our life. Example: Passover

This Christmas we have chosen to give of ourselves and our money to those who are REALLY in need. We plan on helping in the community ~ the elderly and the poor, as well as the single parent. We plan on giving to Life Today, Compassion International, World Vision and Sameritans Purse. We also want to give to the Angel Tree. Each one of our children pick out an angel that is around their age and they get to shop for their gift and they help wrap it as well. Then as a family we turn the gifts in.

Fireproof Your Marriage

Well Ladies, Wives ~

Here is the perfect date for you and your beloved. I know this date is marked BIG on my calendar. It is the night I am taking my hubby out on a date. We are going out to eat and then we are going to go see this movie. Check it out. Watch the official trailer under watch videos. You will be so glad you did. I think for many of us women, it just might help our men see a little piece of our heart and why we act as we do.

The Simple Woman's Daybook ~ August 11, 2008

Outside My Window ... the weather is absolutely beautiful, cool breeze that is quite pleasant, especially after all the days of high heat.

I am thinking ... of how blessed I am and how God is a wonderful husband and provider for my life. I thank Him for all my many blessings.

I am thankful for ... my beloved husband, who is my best friend. My precious and beautiful children (all 8 of them even the one in my belly), most importantly my Jesus, Lord and Savior of my life.

From the kitchen ... chicken and dumplings.

I am wearing ... a white sleeveless t-shirt and some shorts.

I am creating ... a home that is a sanctuary to all that enter my doors. I want to love of Christ to always be manifested in all it's glory. I want people to feel His love as they enter. I want them to feel nourished and taken care of.

I am going ... to my midwife on Thursday to check on baby Elisea...

I am reading ... so many books, I love to read.

I am hoping ... that we are able to find a beautiful farm house in the country.

I am hearing ... peace and quiet.

Around the house ... I have finished all of the down stairs, all but the bathroom wall paper. All that is left is the 2 older girls rooms and their bathroom.

One of my favorite things ...time alone with Jesus. This is my hearts desire to meet with Him regularly.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: ...to finish my weekly to do list, find time to enjoy my husband and family, as well as relax.

I am back....

Many of you I am sure has wondered where I have been. Well, I had a nasty fall in late July and then found out that we are having to put all the children into school, all but my high schooler. This was a huge blow, but the Lord is in control.

So, I have been dealing with getting them started into school. I will still be doing crafts, lessons, and field trips on the weekends with them, so I will be posting on my homeschool site.

Everything is back on track so all my daily posting on all sites will resume. I appreciate everyone for their patience and prayers. Tina

My Vocation ~ to let my life speak!

I am a Christian

As to my calling, I am committed to those God puts in my path. As to my heart, I belong entirely to the heart of Jesus. As to my work, it is to encourage those around me to do all their work, in love, done with a full heart, bringing people closer to God.

I am in a desperate pursuit of God. I hunger for my Savior to lavish His love on me. My determination to truly know God on a truly intimate level. I am dedicated to studying the Word of God and discovering all the truths He has to offer me.

My desire...to tell the truth about my life...the joys and sorrows and His works within me.
